My Crafting Journey

An MBA in Marketing by profession I chose to be an entrepreneur in 2013 to take my passion and interest to the next level. Since a young age I have been pursuing Arts and Crafts as a hobby. Every summer vacation I used to learn a new form of hobby from my mother or attend any interesting summer camp. In 2012 the crochet work done by my Aunt made me to start crafting on a serious note. Initially it was only crochet accessories, some gift envelopes and bookmarks. Now I make decoupage home decor products, accessories, photo frame magnets, post-it magnets, handmade cards and other gift items. Sankrithi is a brand where creativity is given a new dimension and through which I sell my products.

My style of crafting depends on the project that I am working and do not follow a specific one. It keeps changing quite often as I like to try new techniques and create one of a kind product. It is an amazing feeling to come up with an idea, gather the required materials and tools and create the desired product in mind. As crafting is my passion, a sense of happiness and satisfaction is experienced upon completion of every product. Quality is something that I never compromise on.

I started blogging in the year 2010 but that was for a very brief period during MBA for a course and it was a general one. From the time I started crafting on a serious note I had the idea to re-start this blog and as usual it took its own sweet time. So now here I am in 2018 changing the focus of this blog to crafting but under the same name “A Journey called Life” simply because for me crafting will always be a hobby and passion first before it being a profession. So I hope to share my creations and tips to the blog world about this wonderful crafting journey of mine. Have a good day!!
